An opportunity to experience joy in alignment
Hosted on the very lands we tend, the evening immerses guests in the living systems we are cultivating together. You will tour the farms, experience edible landscapes and floral installations grown by our farmers, hear authentic and rooted stories from land stewards, become captivated by artistic performances, and a chef-prepared meal sourced from Black-led farms across our network.
Driven by passion
Black Oregon Land Trust and Feed’em Freedom Foundation are united in working together to address severe socio-environmental crises. Together, we are creating a holistic climate resiliency model by building a regenerative food ecosystem rooted in land access, farmer prosperity, community nourishment, and policy change. This work paves the way for a more just and resilient agricultural future. Realizing this symbiotic ecosystem across land access, farming, education, distribution and policy requires a $25 million in long-term investment.
An experience demonstrating the web of our mycelium in cooperative action
When land, food, culture, and community come back into relationship, thriving futures are created. Our collaboration is already demonstrated through farmers like Arthur Shavers and Shantae Johnson of Mudbone Grown, who steward land held by BOLT while feeding hundreds of families a week through Feed’em Freedom’s programs. Our growing network nourishes communities each week while creating pathways for new farmers to access land and steward it responsibly. With the right investment, we will expand to support more farmers, feed more families, and help shape the policies and infrastructure needed for regenerative food systems to thrive across our region.
