Description:
This workshop is designed to help growers prepare for the upcoming irrigation season. Using a peer-to-peer learning format, participants will be introduced to practical, easy-to-use tools for planning and managing irrigation more efficiently.
Specifically, the workshop will demonstrate how to:
Estimate crop water requirements at different stages of the growing season
Understand the amount of water delivered by an irrigation system
Determine optimal irrigation timing and irrigation set durations
